SmartDye™ Terminator v3.1 Cycle Sequencing Kit

SmartDye™ Terminator v3.1 Cycle Sequencing Kit is built on proven Sanger sequencing chemistry and engineered for high-quality reads across a broad range of templates. Combines fluorescently labeled dideoxynucleotide terminators, thermostable DNA polymerase, and a 5× optimized buffer into a single, ready-to-use premix. Generates lengthy, superior-quality reads with minimal error rates and an optimized dye chemistry that delivers high signal-to-noise ratios — particularly effective on GC-rich templates where alternative kits often fail. Supports de novo sequencing, resequencing, and finishing workflows across PCR products, plasmids, BACs, and fosmids. Seamlessly replaces BigDye® Terminator v3.1 without protocol modifications; compatible with accelerated 3-minute reaction times. Performs efficiently at minimal volumes (0.15 µl dye in 5 µl total reaction). Available in five sizes from 24 to 25,000 reactions for individual experiments to high-throughput core lab use.
