The ARTEMIS Platform is the secure, web-based lab operations portal built for Femto Scientific clients. Manage your full instrument inventory, track calibration schedules, submit and approve calibration contracts, and follow work orders from dispatch through completion — all in one place, accessible by your entire team.

The ARTEMIS Platform is Femto Scientific’s secure, web-based lab operations portal, and its centralized dashboard is the single screen where your entire team sees the state of your instrument fleet at a glance. From one view you can track every calibrated instrument by its unique FS-ID, see upcoming and past-due calibration dates, follow open work orders from dispatch through certificate delivery, and watch live environmental conditions and active alarms. Because the dashboard draws on one shared data model rather than scattered spreadsheets, lab managers, quality staff, and purchasing all work from the same real-time picture — with no software to install and nothing to reconcile by hand.
The ARTEMIS Platform is delivered by default as a fully hosted, cloud-based service: it runs in any modern browser, requires no local installation, and is kept patched, backed up, and monitored by Femto Scientific. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and each customer’s records are logically isolated and scoped to their own organization. For laboratories with stricter data-residency, network-segmentation, or computer-system-validation requirements, we also offer single-tenant and private-deployment options, and can discuss on-premises hosting for regulated environments that need the platform to run inside their own infrastructure. Your Femto team can help you choose the deployment model that fits your IT and quality policies.
Every person who uses the ARTEMIS Platform has an individually authenticated account, and access is governed by role-based access control (RBAC). You can invite your full team — lab managers, quality and QA staff, technicians, and purchasing — and assign each user a role that grants only the permissions their job requires, so approving a calibration contract, editing the asset registry, and simply viewing records are separate privileges. Accounts are scoped to your organization and its sites, support strong authentication, and can be provisioned or de-provisioned as staff change. This least-privilege model keeps regulated actions in the hands of authorized users and produces a clear record of who is permitted to do what.
Yes. The ARTEMIS Platform is built to provide the controls that FDA 21 CFR Part 11 — and the equivalent EU GMP Annex 11 — expect of electronic records and electronic signatures: unique authenticated user accounts, role-based access controls, and secure, computer-generated, time-stamped audit trails that capture who changed what and when. Regulated actions such as calibration-contract sign-off are captured as electronic approvals, and records are retained as complete, attributable, and legible entries consistent with ALCOA+ data-integrity expectations. As with any software, full Part 11 compliance is a shared responsibility: Femto Scientific supplies the technical controls and validation documentation, and your organization applies the procedural controls and signature policies. We can provide the artifacts your quality team needs to qualify the platform for GxP use.
The ARTEMIS Platform retains your instrument records, calibration history, work orders, ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates, and monitoring data under a configurable retention schedule that can be aligned to your ISO 17025, GxP, or corporate record-retention policies — typically preserving the full calibration and monitoring history for the life of each instrument and beyond. Your data is always yours: certificates download as PDFs on demand, asset and calibration data export to CSV or Excel for audits and reporting, and structured data can be pulled programmatically through the platform API. This portability means you are never locked in and can always produce complete records for an auditor or inspector.
