qMAX™ Probe qPCR Mix

qMAX™ Probe qPCR Mix is supplied as a ready-to-use 2× master mix for probe-based real-time quantitative PCR. Optimized for use with TaqMan™, Scorpions®, and molecular beacon probes. Combines Accuris Hot Start Taq Polymerase with a specially formulated buffer that maximizes polymerase function and probe detection, yielding earlier Ct values and broad detection range. The antibody-mediated hot-start mechanism allows room-temperature reaction setup for greater specificity. The mix performs with the same high efficiency in complex multiplex reactions as in singleplex assays without loss of performance. As a 2× concentrate, it requires minimal optimization and is compatible with both fast and standard cycling protocols. Detects any DNA template including genomic and complementary DNA. Available in three ROX reference dye levels (No ROX, Low ROX, High ROX) for compatibility with all major qPCR instruments.
