Accuris SmartDoc Imaging Enclosure and Accessories

The Accuris SmartDoc 2.0 Imaging Enclosure converts any existing UV or blue light transilluminator into a smartphone-based gel documentation station. The 19×19 cm base fits on most standard lab transilluminators. The enclosure blocks ambient laboratory light to provide consistent, reproducible image conditions for any smartphone or tablet camera. An orange photo filter is included for imaging gels when using visible blue light illumination with SmartGlow or other safe fluorescent stains. For UV transilluminator use, three optional photo filters are available: the 535 nm bandpass filter for green-fluorescing stains (SYBR, SmartGlow), the 590 nm bandpass filter for ethidium bromide imaging, and the UV-blocking filter optimized for the Accuris E3100 myView UV transilluminator. A UV-blocking mat (E5000-MAT) is also available to protect the bench surface. The SmartDoc 2.0 (E5001-SD) enclosure pairs with the SmartDoc Blue Light Illumination Base to form the complete E5001-SDB imaging system.
