Accuris SmartBlue Blue Light Transilluminators

Accuris SmartBlue blue light transilluminators are engineered for safe, high-sensitivity visualization of nucleic acid gels stained with non-mutagenic fluorescent dyes. High-intensity LEDs emit at a peak wavelength of 465 nm, the optimal excitation point for SmartGlow, SYBR Green, Gel Red, Gel Green, and ethidium bromide alternatives. Blue light does not cause UV-induced strand damage, making it safe to handle gel samples after imaging. The included amber filter cover enhances band contrast for direct viewing; optional amber viewing glasses (E4000-VG1) allow hands-free observation. LEDs provide a service life of approximately 30,000 hours, eliminating lamp replacement costs. The E4000 standard model offers a 17×12 cm viewing surface (30.5×21.5×5 cm instrument dimensions, 1.2 kg); the E4101 Mini provides a 10.5×10.5 cm surface (17×12×5 cm, 0.34 kg) for compact bench setups. Both models accept 100–240V, 50–60 Hz and carry a 2-year warranty.
