The Accuris Smart-Q Mini Fluorometer is an ultra-compact benchtop instrument designed for rapid, sensitive quantification of nucleic acids and proteins using fluorescent dye chemistry. Its dual-channel configuration — blue LED (470 nm) and red LED (620 nm) excitation — covers dsDNA, RNA, ssDNA, oligonucleotides, and protein quantification protocols in a single device. Results are delivered in under 5 seconds from sample volumes as small as 1 µL, providing far greater sensitivity and specificity compared to UV absorbance methods. The instrument connects wirelessly to any iOS or Android smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth, with a dedicated Smart-Q Mini app providing preloaded, validated protocols, two-point custom calibration, an integrated molarity calculator, and data export capabilities for laboratory record-keeping.
