The Accuris Smart-Q Fluorometer series enables highly sensitive, fluorescence-based quantification of dsDNA, ssDNA, RNA, and protein with superior specificity over UV absorbance. Two models address different throughput needs: the Smart-Q 100 (F1001) processes a single sample in a 0.5 mL tube in under 5 seconds, while the Smart-Q 800 (F1008) accommodates up to 8 samples simultaneously in 0.2 mL tubes or strip format, completing reads in under 6 seconds. Both instruments are built around blue (460 ± 20 nm) and red (625 ± 20 nm) LED light sources with broadband photodiode detectors (300–1,000 nm), offering 5 (Smart-Q 100) or 4 (Smart-Q 800) orders of magnitude dynamic range with ≤1.5% stability. Sensitivity reaches as low as 0.1 pg/µL for dsDNA. A 7.0-inch color touch screen provides preprogrammed protocols, built-in reagent calculators, and intuitive on-board operation. Data is exported via USB. Compatible with Accuris Quantification Kits (F1000 series) and other Qubit-compatible kits.
